Hello to everyone. I have read the info that I could find about where to get a coil cable extension for the e trac, however Doc's nor coiltek offer them anymore. Any advice would be great. Thanks in advance.Jarid Warren.

jarid,

They can be got.

I tried to PM you to send you the link, but that's not possible.Your not accepting PMs and I'm not to sure that I can direct you to a non forum sponsor that sells a suitable version of the cable, on the forum, even though none of them seem to sell them any longer.

However I can tell you that a suitable 5 PIN HEAVY DUTY MIC MICROPHONE EXTENSION CORD CABLE CB Radio EX5HD with the style of connector that is the same as that of the Etrac, will work.

that is you can obtain a NEW heavy duty 5 pin microphone extension cable for CB and Ham radio. Large 0.25in diameter cable,
10in long coiled mic cable with 6in pigtails (22in unstretch) extends to 48+in, molded 5 pin plug/jack will do the trick.

If you have trouble finding it on-line, I'd be happy to PM you the link.
