I just spent the weekend at HHI with my new Minelab Quattro. I picked up about $3.50 in clad and a really nice sterling silver ring. Beach access is a little tight, but there are four or five beaches with public access on the north end of the island. (All beaches on HHI are public, but there are only a few public access places). You have to pay to park and then walk a block or two to the beach. Coligny Beach has public parking and a lot of people, but it seemed to be pretty well "picked over". I did the best at Folley Field Beach. The Quattro performed great, and I was regularly finding clad at 12" and deeper. Good luck.
 
I will be in the area Sunday Morning and maybe Monday. I haven't been to Hilton Head for a few year's because of the traffic.I will be reading e-mail this week.. Hope you found some C W Bullets on Folly Beach..LMK''Richard
