High Seas and Gale Force Winds = Sanded in Beaches in Bermuda

The storm that hit the NE coast in the States has caused high seas and gales in Bermuda. The sand moved but it moved in not out so targets are scarce now.
I tried hunting my beach at Cambridge as it is sheltered but no luck. The Princess, my buddy Chris and our neighbour Jill came down to watch from the comfort of the beachside restaurant 'Breezes', at least they had a good time.
Yesterday I hunted Church Bay but it was too rough to hunt anything but the wet sand (this beach has a very dangerous undertow when the seas are high). I thought I had found a thick gold band but on clean up it turned out to be a brass bushing. I did manage to find a silver Rosie wedged into a crack in a rock and the usual clad/junk but that was it.
Today is the last minus tide for a while so I'll try again if the seas calm a little. We're supposed to be going whale watching if the weather allows this weekend so that will be it for hunting for a while.

Cheers All,

BDA:cool:
