High Freq DD - Question - HELP!!!!!

Ok, I bought the High Freq DD 10.5 coil. I live in VA near the battlefields. Should I be using this coil or the one that came with it. I guess I do not know what coils to use where. I do not mind digging up anything as I am new to this. Trash is fine. I just want the maximum depth and finds. I like to dig no matter what. I was told to buy the high freq. because of the area I live in. Please tell me if I am right. The question is, use the coil that came with the detector or the DD High Freq at all times. I really appreciate the help. Like I said, this is all new to me.. I love the advise.
