High and low tide on our local beach.

Here's a photo showing the distance between the high and low tide marks on our local beach.....the one where we've had all the gold from. The photo was taken from the high tide line and you can just make out the people down by the surf.In the summer on nice warm days, the whole beach is covered with holiday makers so you can see why there is a lot of lost jewelry on the beach.

Wow Nauti Neil, that's a huge spread, I bet there is sure to be a whole lot more gold photo's in the near future:thumbup:

We have beaches here like that, but not so many finds. I guess all the holiday makers enjoy your beach first...Keep on swinging...Enjoy.

Thats the beach that got a lot of sand blown off from your big storms too right? Took it down to the hardpack?
