Hiding Cr. Finds

Got some pics of my finds from the 2 home steads . The toy car is a hotwheel, some 38 cal. casings, 1 slug, buttons came from an old weather worn coat in the cabin near the lake swamp. There is a lot of trash it may take me a while to go through this site, also the road in is 4x4 especially when wet.
The 1929 Nickle is the oldest coin I've found with the GTI 2500 at only about 4" down, was near an old vehicle side yard motor pool, with lot of bit of metal strewn around.

This is the place where there is suppose to be 2 - jars/cans of coins dating to early 1800's. The first cabin in this pic list is the older of the two, any other opinions welcome. :detecting: Dave

Well I sure would loooovvve to have a place like that to hunt, I think I would be doing a lot of diggin cause if you are lookin for OLD jars the lids could be made of anything, hopefully metal.

Pretty site you have there! HH

Trouble is back in those days folks had little money and bartered for everything and what few coins they had were usually carried in a leather pouch.

I think what will happen is I will start making pile of trash & slowly clean up the yard.
Maybe coins are in a leather pouch.
I'm going to use the 9.5" coil first, then the 12.5" and hopefully next year I can get to use the Eagle Eye for 2'-3' depth.

I have a Question, would any one of you folks bring a friend along for the clean up process? Dave
