Hi:wave: did I miss anything? ;)

I'm not in the brig., whatever, etc......I have been in bed with very bad Lyme Disease for days now......
a little better today to type this.
Hopefully turning a corner to be able to detect again soon.....
HH,
Bill

Hi Bill, Sheesh! Hope you're getting better quickly! Would this be a detecting related malady?

I didn't pull a tick off me...but that does not mean anything as the nasty deer ticks here are the size of the period at the end of this sentence. Even though I take all kinds of precautions in the woods (Pemanone, DEET, tucked in socks), it could have been in my hair or something & I never knew it......

My relic hunting buddy has a recurring "tick fever" that hits him from time to time. I don't think it's Lyme Disease, he just said the Dr. called it tick fever. Could someone 'splain the difference?

We had a roast, a who's who contest and there were some turds thrown around. All in all just the usual stuff.

Of course I played good as usual ;)

I have heard Lymes can be tough and it really takes one down.

Man I hope they got you tested and pumped the antibiotics to you. That is one tough disease once it sets up shop. Good luck!

That stuff scares me to death. Had a few "stickers" this season and what can you do at that point other than cross your fingers.

A friend on mine got it over a year ago and he has never fully recovered. He, however, is older. Good luck and best wishes for a full and speedy recovery. HH jim tn

Hang in there, you will recover and be good as new!!

BILL, I hope a FULL & GOD 'S SPEED Recovery, if AT ALL POSSIBLE!! I know you have been dealing with that disease for several years, if my memory serves me right!! TAKE CARE, Les Robinson.

I think there are several of these nasty tick-borne diseases. Several years ago my mom had one they called Q fever. I don't know if that is another name for what some doctors call "tick fever" or a separate disease. My Dad got another one, Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, this summer and just recently got over that.

i know people who got that, and didn't get the "shots" early on!..they are plenty "screwed" up now!..affects the nervous system!..hope ya got it licked bill!

if it ain't lyme's disease,it's possible he could just be "horny!" is all!

Dude you missed a lot but I do hope you feel better I hate ticks and my cats get them from time to time and I find one everyonce in awhile on the bed or carpet...You must be all bent on the new F75 and T2 you use both machines....the claim of depth and the claim of hitting targets the F75 with a six disc can't seem to see:surrender:you may have to hit all of your old sights again but that would be a great way to get you back on your feet:stars:so hang in there before winter hits this is going to be a strange winter you just wait and see..

Tom's an instigator, the worst of the worst. A Svengali I tell you! And that's why he's a valued member of this forum.   The magic couldn't happen without Tom!

Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain!

There sure are and some can really wallop you good. If youve got a suppressed immune system you especially have to be careful.

Like Bill says, you cant even see some of the ticks they are so small.

Bill I hope you get well and get it under control:thumbup:
