Hi , to everyone I'm new n this forum , but I think it's the right place where I can get answers on my questions. I need your opinion. Want to buy a good underwater detector in 600 +/- $ range.Usually I do not dive deeply , and it's fresh water. What it is better to me to choose , Whites Beach Hunter Id , Whites surfmaster PI , Headhunter diver or Pi , Tesoro tigershark any others?

If you want to dig everything a detector CAN see....get a PI unit. I have not used one, but have a buddy that does and he has more finds than I ever will because he digs EVERYTHING. If you want a machine that discriminates well and has an excellent track record...get a Tiger OR a Fisher CZ-20 or 1280. These units are work horses and their warranties are lifetime. Have not talked to Fisher yet...but have talked to Tesoro and sent my Stingray II for a check-up...extremely nice and cooperative. Happy Hunt'in Kieth-Tx

To tell the truth I tend to detector VLF. But what to me to prefer? Beach hunter, Tiger shark, HH Diver? Somebody had these models as they in comparison ?
