I was so impressed by some of your photos of finds with 14" Excelerator2 searchcoil, with which you heap us last three
monts, that I decided to save all your photos in my computer.
What a surprise!Your camera model Fine Pix E 510 remembers better
than you.
And because you wrote that all these things are found after your
first visit in these forums(January 2006)...:
1.my conclusions about your finds:

I can continue, but that's enough.

If you lose your photos - don't worry. After two years (may be when Excelerator3 is on the market) I can send them to you.

...some real CSI-type shiznit there. I usually look at that kind of stuff too. I pretty much suspect EVERYTHING I see on the Internet. Although I rarely question forum stuff, since it would be very easy to dispute and pretty much impossible to prove. I figure we have to take a lot on faith here.

someone is either telling the truth or BS'ing like hell. And a good liar will already have his excuse handy for you when you press the issue. 'figures lie and liars figure' as they say.

Reserving what I personally think by giving no comment, I'll play the DA. Timestamp is never set properly on camera even though you set it once on most cameras and that's it until the ROM battery dies. that could be 5-7 years. Or I never set proper time on my PC and always edit my photos which gives them incorrect TS.

But you know generally "no cover is big enough to hide itself" - so most of the pretenders will eventually flush themselves out in good time. we've seen them disappear from this Forum and find others where the hood-winking is prime. Giant caches and incredible strings of non-stop finds. everyone must draw their own conclusions. :geek:

This same message was posted over on the water forum, and like I responded there, my cam defaults to sometime in 2004. It's nothing unusual or in the least bit suspect.

In case anyone missed it, someone posted they talked to others at the Lake that saw MrChile out there diggin holes to China. I say let the guy have his 15 minutes of fame.

Hmmmmm, let's see, if a Lake near me was drained that has drawn 10's of thousands of water loving people per year, and I went out and bought the best water detector there is with a mega coil, had lots of time on my hands, and by golly if I was the first one to get there, how could I possibly NOT have this kind of success???????

It's a remarkable story! I hope we'll be reading about it in the magazines, and I'm sure MrChile will look back years from now and say, "Wow, what a wild ride THAT was!".
