Hi mineral soil & and the 250?

I live in North East Pa., the soil is a high mineral content! I have been told that the 250 would not handle this well and i should consider a different brand of detector? My funds are not that huge and I don't want to get one and find out that it will not do well,here,and be stuck with it! I am bummed!!!!!!!
What to do??????????????

I have used my ace 250 in MI--- Tx---- Al---- and never had a problem. -- Graw

If you keep the sensitivity low it should work for you. I live in Oregon ( volcanic soil ) and the 250 works well here.
