I went out for the first time on good Friday. I had an hr. and a blast.. 3 nails, I ,4 inch bolt, 2 pull tabs, a pop can, and my best find was a dope pipe. Can't wate to go again.

Welcome aboard mate! Seems there is an influx of new mates, surely attempting to get their share of the bootie. Just enjoy the actual act of detecting and you surely will not be dissappointed, but there will be lean times, which you will either survive or wilt on the vine, hang in there! OBTW, been at this since Jul. '04 and just went through my record goldless streak, at 27 straight hunts, from 6-8 hours..........How bout those stats! I still wanna do it!
