I pick up on another v3 and was looking at some coils ans seen v3i whats this????What would be the best coil to use for a trash park.Im hunting for silver.

What's the V3i? The newest Whites detector. The V3 is not made anymore it is the V3i now. You can upgrade your V3 if you want. The 2 small coils are the 5.3 concentric or the 4x6 DD. Rob
 
Thanks Rob,what coil would you use????How much for the upgrade and where to send it ,I live in new orleans....L.A.Do you think the upgrade it worth it.....will it do any thing for depth????
 
The upgrade is worth it. It is $125 which includes return shipping. You can sent it to Whites or your closest update center. For the coil I can only say use the one that works best for you in your ground. They are all good, of the little ones I like the 5.3. Rob
 
The upgrade IS worth every dime. For my dirt (moderate to spots from hell) coil usage in order of use....D2,5.3/ 6x10,shooter and 950. Every one has been indispensable. Favorite is the stock D2.
