hi ho silver

Went to my usual hunting park around the corner from my house.
Was using the wot coil, really a great coil with no concerns with pin pointing.

Came home after an hour with a 1930 dime, 1924 cent, 1943 us nickel...and Finlay a .925 silver ring.

thanks for looking, hh oj in BC

Nice finds! Do you feel that WOT gives much more depth than the standard coil or does it simply provide much greater coverage area?

Tony, I use a WOT coil on my musketeer, and it gets better depth over the stock 10" for sure. in disq with the stock i can not get the 8" dime the WOT gets the 9" both ways of the swing and in all metal my 10" dime no problem even with the coil 3" off the ground and quarters i have one buried at 11" and the WOT gives a clear digable signal on it and in all metal its tip to tip coverage at those depths its a great coil

Yes I'm convinced it does give the extra depth....but it is a trade off due to weight... the pin pointing is fairly easy, just at the tip of coil. hh oj/bc

ps many of you know, that a rain soaked field is ideal hunting, since I'm convinced also that rain will give extra depth to any stock coils
