Hi Ho Silver Away!

Nancy-IL

Well-known member
:wiggle:Larry and I went detecting for a few hours and had a great day. My first dig was a shiny bright horse that was 5" deep. I looked at the dirty little thing and went to the truck and put it in water. Larry didn't think too much of it but I kept thinking it was something special. After cleaning it up at home, it was stamped "sterling". Yee Haw Hi Ho Silver! As intricate as it is, nothing was broken or bent. That sterling horse has made my day. Oh and the oldest wheat was an 1909 :surprised: without the VDB. Still had a great time. Oh, did I say that I found the oldest coin? :clapping: But then Larry did find 3 silvers. I still like my little silver horse.

Nothing wrong with those finds Nancy. It's not everyday that you find a silver horse. Which machine are you using?

I was using the MXT. :sadwalk: It was in a privately owned yard and didn't want to make mistakes when digging the targets. Thanks Robbie and HH, Nancy
