Hi,here`s my silver ring and jewellery finds from 2009

Greetings from Finland,happy Christmas to my fellow hunters. My year of 2009 was quite successful:

2 of those rings are over one hundred years old and the detector i used was x-terra 70 with stock coil.:yo:

Thanks,yes the Finnish lions are nice looking things and i also found lots of old relics and coins this year.:biggrin:
 
Awesome! How were you able to tell the age of the rings? Some of my finds have me wondering at their age, but I just thought there would probably be no way to really tell..

Inside the rings are a makers year stamp,that you can check online and oldest year stamp is from 1810. Lower middle ring,that plain one is from 1877 and lower right ring is from 1899.:)
 
That's some nice jewelry you got their, WTG

I was they would of marked old jewelry here in the US so that we could tell how old they were. If they did, I haven't found any with that type of markings.
