Hi there!
I am Vincent, 49 years old, living and detecting in the Netherlands.
Have been detecting for about 5 years now, currently owning a Golden Mask 1+ and a Deeptech Vista Smart.
I search in my own region, and everything really interesting is for the small museum of our local historical club.
Finds here range from Roman times to WW2.
Early medieval is my favorite era, because so little is known about these so called 'dark ages'.

I can't wait to see some of your finds........... post soon please ..LOL

Thanks Elton!
OK, one of the most beautiful coins I have ever found.
Early medieval silver Sceat, continental type 'Maastricht'.
Before and after cleaning.

This coin is dated around 710-750 A.D.

That is about as good as it gets with a Sceat, they dont come up very often but when they do they are usually in bad shape, but that one is top draw stuff.A very nice coin
