Last I posted I was about to take a trip with my oldest daughter to So Cal . Thanx for all your prayers, the trip went great :biggrin: . We were there for almost a week and I was able to hit the beautiful Manhatten Beach for a little over an hour with my MD. Sadly enough the beach was pretty clean I picked up 1.65 in change and a pair of eye glasses lol. oh well the weather was great and it was fun. Since I dont have any MD find pics to share Im ganna share a pic of the beach I was on. Hope u all dont mind too much God Bless .

There r several beaches there, a beach hunters paradise lol. all full of people. this is the beach thats the closest to where i was staying. I was hoping to find a little more then i did but thats the gamble of the hobby . you just never know. the other beaches in the area that I cant wait to get to are.. santa monica, hermosa and redondo. those r the tourist beaches. manhatten is more of a locals only beach.

When I was there over thanksgiving I found out the hard Way they run a beach cleaning machine on that beach early every morning. If you see where they are turning around at , they lift the machine out of the sand a few inches to make the turn. That 5foot by 10 foot mound of sand is loaded! you can just let them bring the coins to you! Ed in co.
 
I will be going back in the spring. I know someone who stays in he area so i go for visits whenever possible. thanx for the tip
