Just getting back to this great hobby after a number of years. I searched high and low for what I felt were the right detectors to purchase for myself and my wife. After doing a lot of research on all the top brands (BTW, I still have my old White's from the 70's), I decided on the F75 Special Edition for yours truly and the F5 for my wife. I've been following the postings here on the Fisher's Forum and I feel I made the right choices. I sure hope the Special Editions start arriving soon, because I'm chomping at the bit. I hate waiting 
, BUT OH WELL. I sure hope to add to the great discussion here over a period of time. There are a lot of great folks here like Bill Ladd and some others too numerous to mention. I'm a very good tech type, but it seems like I have my work cut out for me 
, as it relates to learning the machines. I really like to know all there is about the detectors I use. Thank you all in advance for your help and support. GO
