king george 111

New member
Had the whites/Tesoro/REALLY cleaning out my spot never had a clue how good this pulse is a little slower swing but more DEPTH wont go in the water with it but cleaning up at low tide 8 inch coil drops right in hole good price to already paid for it self . never found seated on the saltwater beach before but have now .well time to dig .........................KG111

Why won't you go in the water with it.........you can wade the surf & it's rated to a depth of 6 feet.....I use mine in the surf & rain no problems....Just remember to lube the black earcup seal a little every time you change the batteries.....HH...Tab.

Spit my coffee out on that one !!!!!!!

Glad you are getting deep silver. Gold will be next.

I think the 8 inch coil on the HH PI is the better coil for that one specific reason you stated...you can get the entire coil in the hole and snoop around easily. Pin points very well with that coil too.

Good Answer......I'm 65 & not as good a swimmer as I use to be....... so I just get in from Knee to Waist deep & only if the waves are not breaking very hard..........HH...Tab.

Great to hear. I just ordered the 8" coil and can't wait to get it. I live in Minnesota so hunt fresh water lakes, tremendous amount of competition so I'm hoping to get some deeper jewelry. I have the 11" coil, but I am having some trouble learning how to pin point it because it detects so deep. I can't tell if I'm off target or it is just that deep. Never owned a pulse before so I have a learning curve. I will be in South Beach in Feb. 2012 and plan to take it with me.

there are pulse people in the water here i WATCH them close and try to listen about finds they wander all over and have trouble gettin targets out of the holes even in knee deep water what a headacke the sand is there worst enemy when it start falling in u just got to forget it and i dont like having to winch my scoop out of a 4ft hole.theres enough targets for me in a 30by 30ft area to keep me diggin till the arms fall off.one guy told me that machine is NO GOOD out of the water i said YES I NO after diggin another silver dollar .good luck to all kg111

Many years ago we had a bull shark swim into three of us detecting with the old orange Whites PI. Never when in past my knees ever since.:sleepy:
