Hey Vernon, how did your stress test go?

I had one last Thursday in MT. Sterling KY. I had to get my heart rate up to 144 beats per minute and hold it at that level for 60 seconds, thats when they shoot the radiated dye to ya. I guess I done OK, as I haven't went back for the results and no one has called. Good luck! ya gotta take care of that ticker:beers:

new fan dangled stress test two weeks ago--I did mine Laying down and half asleep--I much preferred that way to running up and down those D@$ steps--It can be done by injecting chemicals in to a vein---I have had 3-4 of the old style--The problem being with them is I never can run enough to satisfy the doctors--I never want to do a stress test the old way

They hooked all the wires to me, put an IV in my left arm ready to administer the radiation solution during the last minute of the test, and had a EKG hooked up to my right arm. I looked like more like a squid than a person. 4 nurses helped carry all that stuff while I made my way to the tread mill.

They told me that I needed to put in at least 10 minutes on the mill but 20 minutes would be better. Speed and angle of the mill increased every 3 minutes. They ask me at 10 min. if was good to go longer?, I ask them when they were going to turn it on? :punch:

At 20 minutes they ask me to let them know when I thought I could only go one more minute.... now I don't know about you all, but my heart will burst before I tell 4 women I only have a minute left in me . At 25 minutes they shot the radiation solution in and I did the last minute... and I was glad, *whew* All looks good so far.

I got the Results from my (lazy way) Stress test and it came out very good--now I don't know if that means GOOD for a OLD man test or GOOD for a YOUNG man like you test------You may like doing the test by running but ME I will do it by Laying Down (I had a good looking nurse-Well she looked Better than Elson)and having chemicals injected in my Old Withered Veins from now on--I used to be able to do the Running without Much Problem But I cannot do the running Test any more Because my Knees and Legs will not work anymore---I NEver NEver thought my legs would give out,That was a surprise to me when It started to happen (2) years ago--That is ONE of the reasons I am Retiring in Jan. I hope something like that don't happen to you in 10 years But if you don't keep on a splitting logs it could---And it could happen Because you Did keeping splitting logs-you just never know what to do for your body--I thing the last 8-10 years of me pushing a scrubber by hand and foot to clean the floor of the high school had a lot to do with my legs going bad-That machine was work pushing it--The other Janitor was a women and she said she could not do this and that because she had bad feet SO I got to do a lot of work she refused to do!--Here is a example,She said she could not change Light Bulbs Because--(1) her feet hurt-(2)she could not climb ladders-(3 BUT-)She liked to paint SO doing that she had NO problem climbing ladders!! She USED people to HER advantage!!

only because I had an abnormal EKG on my physical. I'm a young guy, only 33, so the walking on the treadmill wasn't THAT difficult. What really got me, though, what the NINE patches that they had to SHAVE off my chest and stomach! It itched for a couple of weeks!
