Read a post you had on pinpointing w/250. You indicated after locate to slowly bring back coil and when signal ended it would be at the front edge of the coil or if deep coin an inch or so back. My first question does this apply with all coils, ie sniper, 6 x 9 and larger 9x12? Are there any other tips on this subject that you or others would like to give?

Thanks....Bob

You use the x method on the sniper and it's dead center. The others are the front edge of the inner coil when your tone dies while pulling the coil back.

Only on the 6x9 and 9x12. The Sniper centers right in the middle of the coil and is a breeze to pinpoint with. Centering the target correctly is crucial on any of these coils. With a little practice you will have it down pat.

Thanks for the tip on pinpointing withe 250 with the 6x9 coil, will pass it on to my wife, thanks again, God Bless.

don't be afraid to push and hold and repush and hold the pinpoint button either on top of the target on off to the side. this was the mistake that i made when i first got my 250. i would push and hold it only one time and could not get it to zero in on the target.
