as a matter of fact I found 11 of 'em in a 6 inch square area at a local school yard. Finally got out a little (first time in way too long). Interesting thing is that the ID stayed glued on 10 and 11 even when they were piled up. I guess it's all about conductivity and not mass...

The C$ is a killer nickel machine! I found a bunch of shield, "V' and buffalo nickels last year. You just have to "Train" yourself to listen for that tone. Once you get that tone in your brain, then the gold is gonna start coming too! My biggest problem right now is getting out to hunt! And when I do, I'm just finding wheat pennies :thumbup:
