Hey Tom Spencer..... How's that T2 doing good neighbor? :)

I have had it out only a few hours and was going to sell it. My first day out I dug nothing but trash, I pulled out the Ace 250 and about five feet from stopping with the T2 I found a 1908 dime, would have been nice to get it with the T2. Just want to give it time and see. I want to go heads up with the C$ and see how they both do. My wife came up, so not much time to use it. She wants to go out and do some detecting and try the Ace 250 out. Went up north to Port Huron and seen a person water hunting, I think his name was John; we talked about the area and gave me some ideas. Nancy asked why I didn

me.. wanting to give up so soon. Dont do it or you will be accused of many things. I personally think it is up to the guy that bought it to decide if he wants to sell it or not.. From now on I guess I will keep all of them in the future. I am going to buy one in the near future. But gonna keeeep it forever??? The t-2 seems to be a good detector from what I have read. I had one for about 2 weeks that I borrowed ,but due to weather and other things really did not get to use it as much as I should have...HH

Sure it's his machine and his money. You just hate to see someone make a rash decision they may regret. I almost wrapped my Explorer around a tree after my first outing or two, same with the Sovereign, but those are excellent machines that once you get to know them can make great finds.

The T2 is far easier to learn and use, but you may find your perspective is different after using it a bit more. Personally I loved it the first time I used it and knew it was something special. But I agree it's his machine his money his choice.

I gave up grand for this detector that lies ......What's wrong with me.....I about blew a gasket over the purchase of the GTI 2500.

But now I spent the time on the money! I wanted to really learn this GTI for all it was worth. How did I do that? I dug everything till I knew what was happening.

It took a while...It wasn't even easy...I got bored, I got feed up! But I waited till I finally got it!
These machines really speak a language all their own . And just like it takes a baby a while to say it's first word, it has to listen a long time before it gets it!
Detecting is about the same thing... Listen and dig it all till your back hurts, and dig some more! Eventually it will come I promise!
The T2 is an awesome machine. I've had it for a while and hunt almost everyday for an hour or two. I still don't don't have it down pat...I think in my mind that it should be coming easier for me...Heck I'm an experienced user right?
I think that most every seasoned hard core detectorist will tell you the same as I'm telling you: It just takes time.
Here's the good part....You'll find great finds with the T2. It pulls nickles easily out of trashy areas....And that means it will bring home the Gold also!
It's very deep, and it's lite and easy to use.

Plus all these good neighbors on the T2 board are helping each other to learn more about the T2 each and every day.
When I get done learning her, this year I'm going to spend some more time with the GTI to finish learning her traits.

I love every aspect of detecting and you just need patience to learn the what the detector is saying. And this will help as you get older too!

Enjoy the people you hunt with and the friends you make on the board. Eventually it will come!

the T2 and the Coinstrike. The way it looks I will be keeping both and selling the ID Excel. Nancy likes the 250 better then the ID Excel, now this is what she likes, both are very good. Hope I get the probe for the C$ before I come back up to MI. I want to play with both the T2 and the C$. I said some things at first about the T2 with not giving it time, I was wrong to say it and now will give it time to see what it can do. Need a good pinpointer, Jeff gave me an idea. With Nancy coming up to spend sometime not going to get out much.
Thank You
Tom Spencer
