Remember that house I pointed out on the way to school grounds that evening? And I told you it was the former home of a famous outlaw? Well last week a man was fishing off of a bridge next to that house and hooked an item, reeled it in, and thought he had a wad of muck. Upon further investigation and cleaning, he found a wallet full uf silver coins. But the coins weren't the prize! It was the wallet! As he cleaned it he found it was embossed with none other than the name of AL CAPONE! At first he kept it a secret in fear of it having it taken from him. It is presently being appraised. But thats not all. An electrician bought the house and was initially going to have it demolished but is now restoring it. There was a swimming pool in the back yard which was cracking and collapsing, so he had top soil pushed off of the property to fill it. What the bulldozers unearthed were many silver dollars. It seems that when Capone went out on his robbery sprees he would toss the coins out in the back yard, as this extra weight was just a burden to him. I sure would like to be burdened detecting that place! Thought you would like to hear that.

What a great story. Wonder what else might still be there. Keep us appraised on the Al C story as you hear more, Steve
