Here's a site belonging to Kenneth Snelson, a fine sculptor that works with cables and stainless steel tubeing to create tension/compression structures of great beauty. He discovered and built tensegrity structures as a student, and Buckminster Fuller, his teacher, took all the credit. He also does Panoramas for the joy of it, and the link will take you to this page.
