out and seeing if I can find them. Over the years I've done pretty well finding them up in the hemlocks and cedars. They spend a fair amount of time there so better chance. Usually its just the one, but I have found both from time to time. Even by early spring the animals have started chewing on them. I had a friend who used to like the horns to make knife handles and buttons. He was active in a group called the Green mountain boys. They did reinactments for war stuff and general incampments. They made some nice stuff. he was good also at the scrimshaw on them.
