John not only scores on the 11" Coinsearch coil pics, but he also PMed me this awesome site that is just a huge wealth of Sterling, Tribune, Musketeer X, Colt, Musketeer XS and Musketeer Advantage info, along with old Minelab catalogs in PDF format. It's got great color photos too. Looks like John not only struck another potential source of 11" Coinsearch coil pics and possible info (I haven't looked yet), but also a wealth of info on these old Minelab machines and early Sovereign hardware and coils. Really nicely done site by an enthusiast.

Quote from there..."The Sterling, Tribune, Musketeer X evolved into the Colt, Musketeer XS and current Musketeer Advantage."

I know the Sovereign forum here on Findmall is kind of the unofficial home of Sterling/Musketeer owners here and there, as I see a message from them asking about it or sharing tips from time to time. Perhaps this could be good enough to stick in the Sovereign Models sticky? That sticky is closed so I can't do it myself so you'd need to if you feel it is worthy. If you do I'd change the sticky header to say "& Sterling Thru Musketeer Models" too. If you do, be sure to remark that the catalogs also have old Sovereign info in them as well on that site. Note: If you click on the "The Minelab Musketeers" icon on the right hand side you'll be taken to even more info on it. Unbelievable site! Not selling anything as far as I can tell. Just a history compilation from a avid user, so I don't see any issues with posting a link I don't think?

The page also has a rich history of old catalogs and info on other detector brands too. John, you just keep knocking them out of the ball park.

Since it doesn't appear to be a dealer or anything trying to sell you something, I don't think posting the link is a problem? It's just a depository of history on various detectors.

I am not sure if you know about this sight, http://treasurelinx.com/minelab.html. This guy has uploaded a number of old minelab catalogs you can download in PDF format.. One catalog has a picture of the 11 in coinsearch coil in it.
