Hey RM... I want to do a picture... Need your advice...

I want to put myself, my 11 year old and my 5 year old standing together with hockey gear on. I have the E-10. I have a good tripod and the remote, FL-40 add on flash.
What would be a good location for doing the picture around the house? What advice, settings, etc. I wouln't care if everything else was out of focus or not. Black uniforms... Black helmets. I'm removing the face shields for the picture. Uniform sample attached...
