Hey Rick,, that is one beautiful quarter.... what is the story behind it.?

The camp had been closed since 1972 and in the mid 80's someone bought the land and tore up everything down to ball bearing white sand..... all 30 acres of it. Our metal detector group found out about it and went in and the picking was easy since everything had been turned over. I personally found 3000 coins before it was closed to us. I've been trying to gain access ever since with no luck as I know there is still lots of stuff there. Lots of silver and wheat pennys, several class rings and boyscout rings and my first 2 half dollars......... a '52 Franklin and a worn '18 walker. That quarter came from an area where the busses stopped and let campers off and on for their visit. It came out of the ground looking brand new.
