.............Vicoden will DEFINITELY come up on a drug screen as an opiate;can stay in your system for WEEKS after you are done taking it.All I did was show the employment places my RX bottle with my name on it-As long as you got an RX for it,you are good to go.Here's a funny(sad??) anecdote about drug screening-The last place I went to told me they did a HAIR drug screening, which goes back 6 MONTHS for ANY drugs-They also told me if I got an RX for the Vicoden, its OK,they are lookin for marijuana, cocaine, meth, etc.ANYWAY,a guy that signed up for an interview said that some of the other guys remarked when they heard this"Well, maybe we should wait a month or so to do my drug screen".........We aren't tryin to HIDE anything,now- are we???:help:..............

People without Common Sense can sure say some stupid things! How about when they keep on doing drugs and are screened occasionally at their work place after they quit long enough to pass the drug tests! Oh, what a web we weave when at first we try to deceive! May God Bless you with a job and a very good one just for you! Amen! Ma Betty

Thanks Steve, I do have prescriptions for the pills I have been taking including the Vicodin. I try not to take any unless I really need them. Am glad the VA is paying for all these pills and the eye and other medical things. Otherwise I be back where I was several months ago with little hope of getting anything done.
