We are going into a new line of photo biz.
Event Photography i.e Corporate Parties and the like.
Shoot and print on the spot.
Buying 2 Kodak 8500 printers and an Event Software pkg.
Gonna chain the 2 printers together so that when one printer is busy it automatically goes to the next printer.
Cripes, The Event Software is $2K and the printers are about $1k a piece.

Guv mentioned something similar at a hockey game his son was in. Sounds like a good idea but I want to build up to it slowly. I just had my first event last weekend, 4 football games. What a long day. I didn't advertise or anything yet just by word of mouth I already have about $500 worth of orders come in. I have a game tomorrow and then another on Friday that I want to continue to practice with. Starting next week I'll be putting up posters, handing out fliers and have a small information tent setup at the events I cover. It's a lot more work than I originally thought but I think there is some potential to make some decent money. Get the Olympus. Less $$$$. Smaller footprint. I've used it and it's great.
