It is an old homestead on the river. It has quite a history. In the summer you can walk right past this old patio and never see it.
 
But the bigger question is this .... have you detected that place yet? <img src="/metal/html/wink.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=";)">
 
Can you imagine the work that went into building the steps and fence...I would be willing to venture that they are built from native stone in the immediate area. It sure appears to be very cold. Did you you take this photo when you took the river trip a few weeks ago? Thanks for sharing and please have a great day! I swung a detector there for about 20 minutes last fall and got a few square nails. I am sure there is stuff there.
 
it is a seat and what you are looking at is the back. I imagine they took the rocks right out of the river. The place has an interesting story.
