:usaflag:My wife is interested in what I find, that's about as far as it goes. Works for me.

Hey Ron wasn't sure if it was the sneezies that got you or the toddies! Knew sumpin was up. Can't help you with the young lady, sorry. I hear what youre saying about clad is good BUT... yeah the silver and older stuff is nice. You've got the right idea about research being the key to finding the goodies. Was out to a site today that I had researched. Some farmhouse ruins which are underwater except for the dry season when the reservoir goes way down..Found some clad and a Mexican coin plus the usual trash but there's a vast area still temporarily exposed and haven't even scratched the surface yet so plan on goin back tomorrow. All except one of the old sites I've researched (not counting this one) have been un-huntable for various reasons--lot of em are now cement/asphalt, condos, apartments or turned into state property, historical markers or whatever. I guess it just takes stick-to-it-ness. They'll pan out eventually. Stay outta that rain and hit the books. Sure does make for an interesting hobby though. I'm learning a lot of the local history.

Glad you're okay bud. Hope you have the sicko feeling whipped. Sure ruins a feller's beeping time. I'm just getting to where I feel like getting out and swinging. Feeling rotten sucks. Echinacea works good on the snotty sniffles.

Yeah mine is too. She sure misses detecting as she was my hunting partner. In fact she was my partner in everything, hunting, fishing, detecting, prospecting, nuggetshooting. She loved it all. Anything I wanted to do she was game for. When we used to do a lot of fishing she would go out in the yard the night before and catch a can full of night crawlers. How many gals would do that?

Advertise. HA. There's a few out there. We had a few on this forum but haven't seen them hanging around for awhile. Wish they would drop back in.
