Mich. police: 40-50 teens beat man riding bicycle
Published: 2/11/09, 5:06 PM EDT

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (AP) - About 40 to 50 young males attacked a 50-year-old man riding a bicycle and beat him unconscious, police said.

The motive for the attack Tuesday evening was not known and police were still interviewing witnesses, Lt. Tom Hemingway said. No arrests have been made.

Witnesses told investigators the attackers knocked the man off his bike and began beating him. Police said he was hit in the head with a bottle and then kicked and punched as he lay in the street.

His stolen bike was found later. The man remained hospitalized Wednesday

Question ? 40 to 50 teens ?

I didn't hear a thing?

What a shame! I hope they catch the culprits!

The comments indicate a lot too. 40 - 50 teens means more than 40 - 50 parents don't know where their kids are or what they are doing...and failed to teach them morals...failed to teach them from the Bible. Of course, it is hard to teach what oneself does not know. Too many failed by sparing the rod and spoiling the child.

Pro 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go, And even when he is old he will not depart from it.

2Ti 3:16 Every scripture inspired of God is also profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for instruction which is in righteousness.

It is obvious there is a lot of training not getting done or had been done.

Many fell for the lie - you can't help someone - you have to help yourself first. (This made people self-centered and they became what was most important - first and foremost).

The parents need a wake up call.

That many kids involved, you know someone knows and witnessed it! I hope someone comes clean!
