Made it out to Virginia Beach this week. Just got home. Really enjoyed the place. Did not get to detect the beach much, with all the other things we did. Only saw one other person detecting, and I forget his name. Mentioned you, but he was not sure if he knew you. He did mention a man named Max, whom he said posts online. We were very impressed with the area and the people. Sorry we did not get to run into you at the beach. We were there every day or night for awhile, but as I said, not much detecting going on. We spent most of the time around the 20th street area and north up to the large statue of Neptune and south to the fishing pier.

I was out there every night at low tide under the Moon, hunted the south side of the fishing pier the first 2 nights {Tuesday & weds.Mornings.}, then the north side the last 2 nights {thur & Friday mornings}. Went to get some food Friday morning before low tide and the attendant said 3 pirates had just hit the beach..while I was out to lunch..Got some Video hope to have it up in a few days...........Got out Thursday around 2pm with VB Max& Shark Hunter a few hours, No detecting for me , beach just to crowded....see you Guys Next Year....Obn
