my wife and I are heading UP NORTH CAMPING/METAL DETECTING!!!!gonna stop in West Branch first;spending Labor Day weekend with the in-laws(their 50 th anniversary is Friday the 25th of August-everybody wish a congrats to Carl and Bonnie on their 50th!!)gonna go to Rifle River Rec Area and get wet that weekend;maybe to Gladwin too(there is a state park there on the Tobacco river,I believe it is;river's deep enough to swim in )....THEN,MONDAY OR TUESDAY-beatin a trail NORTH on I-75 to camp up near Cheboygan-almost everybody else will be going home for the start of school-parks(AND beaches!!)will be almost deserted-and;my wife and I (dont forget the dog!!)will be watchin everybody else head SOUTH back home...AND FOR THE BEST PART: SUNDAY;THE 10TH OF SEPTEMBER:I am headed to that private beach club hopefully-I talked to the owner and he said to call him on Saturday nite,the 9th to make sure they will be there-they might be going on a vacation of their own then after running that beach club all summer-If I cant get in there;fine and dandy...I am off until the 14th;I will have my camper still on the truck;detectors packed safe and sound in her;gas money in my wallet-
I guess I will just have to break down and find me somewhere to camp and detect in the state of Michigan....,.
