Was planting an apple tree today... (we all plant trees, don't we?).... Anyway, replacing a flowering plum that a rabbit chewed off. #?*!.... Down in the hole, appx. 10".... this little square thing was there.... I pulled it out, straightened it out, cleaned it off..... it's 1 1/4 square, material of a military dog tag.... that says.... front side : "Save Money on 3 "Cakes" of 'CAMEY" Toilet soap for 15 cents. Otherwise, you'll pay 25 cents for 3." Rev. has a note to dealers. Says this is a "Coupon Check" to be used only for your 3 cakes of "CAMEY" toilet soap. Sponsored by Proctor & Gamble! Has a serial #.... 151 - B. Can anyone date this? Maybe an old war ration token? Maybe a small town gimmik from way back? Kinda kool, though. This kind of find is what makes our MD hobbie "talkable!" Enjoy & HH!! Bigsquid55
