1 card from my cousin in Jeff City, 4 phone calls from my two brothers and two daughters. The oldest was on call with Hospice Care and had to work! My youngest has sent me a card which hasn't arrived! Haven't heard from my son, as yet...but he had to work today and with a busy phone and then on the Internet...it would have been impossible to get through to me after he got home! Also an email from my sister wishing me a Happy Mothers Day!!
Good news and what we've been praying about, my brother in FL is getting closer to moving up here (I hope), as he is checking into different ways to haul his things and has decided it will be probably the end of July before starting to move! I will be trying to loan him some money from one of my credit cards to be able to rent a truck or van and pay for gas, sleeping and eating on the way!
This is giving me an incentive to get my things sorted through and be ready to look at homes for sale near where my sister lives and visit with her, too, when he arrives! We haven't seen him since 1984, when our mother passed away!
God is good and is working it all out in His time for our good and for His purpose! Our timing usually isn't His timing...so patience has to endure along with prayer and lots of hope!
