Hey Kelley.......here's a little beauty I ran into in Alabama.....

last year while detecting an old plantation with RodP. I tried to make the pick as close to life size as possible. I was looking down, watching my coil when Rod called me......I looked up and this monster was about 4" from my face.........I can tell you, there was a big "Royal Rust Stain" in my drawers that day!

This is a nice macro photo. I have not tried to take a photo of a spider yet, really question if I want to mess with one...they bite! Thanks for posting the macro photo. Please have a great day! Kelley (Texas) :)

Like Fred, I am still learnig the camera. However, give me some time and I think that I will be able to, if not master, at ;east be competent with it. :)

It's a Fuji "Fine Pix" 3800. Fairly inexpensive and easy to use. I think they discontinued the model, now it's the 3000. Same camera for all I can see. Cheers.

that might be a little optomistic on your part. :D Besides "competence" is highly over-rated! ;)
