Hi everyone well had my hip replaced on dec 18th an waited a couple of weeks an went out to see how i did an did ok!! so i decided to go back to an area i knew walking was easy i spent about 4 to 5 hours i found close to $5.00 in change an i walked out into a field but was tired so as i turned to walk back i crossed an area i had came through before an got a hit about 430 pm as i dug this hole i also knew it was my last hit of the night as i was beat as it was !! as the coin turned over in the hole i yelled out YES!!! as i knew it was another old one an sure enough as i sat facing the the sun going down i could reflect the image on the coin it was a British coin a half penny king George the third 1772. I was very happy to say the least an the funny part was as i sat there an looked to where i had found the coin it was at the back gate to a high school football field!!! not 50 ft away all these years they had been walking over it!! So happy hunting guys my second 1700 coin in four months im very happy. Pic are on FB larry daigle york pa. come see all i have !!!

WTG on those older coins. No telling what else is in the ground. It might have been an old way station or tavern or campsite. Good luck and HH.

Glad you're feeling better. Does that hip replacement surgery keep you from stooping and bending or are you completely back to normal health? Good luck and I hope you find some more of those older coins.

My hip was good enough to go out at three weeks as long as i had a digger with me !! i can bends an do everything i always could just little easier now!! but got the right one to do next then im done!! thanks for asking 1
