Hey just a few to share

I love the insulators! I'm very interested in the bottle you found with the words "dip the comb in the bottle". What would it have contained that you'd dip a comb into it!!!? Also haven't seen an ink bottle of that shape. Was it ink for dyeing, or writting ink? I can't quite make out the third bottle, also very interesting. The secong photo from the bottom, what is it? An insulator? Looks like it's made of marble. Thanks for sharing! Golden:)

The comb dipping bottle says on front..Dr.Ellis..(special Quick-dry Waving Fluid)WAVE SET...It will give you wavey hair I guess...The ink bottle says ...Sanford's Inks...Its a master ink bottle which is bigger to refill the smaller ones. The top is broke off so it most likely would of had a pour spout on top "just a guess"..on bottom it says..."patented June 2-91"...1891 that is..the bottle shape resembles a chathedral look...writting ink.
yes that is an insulator and a very odd one..I have never seen one and I think it is ceramic...no threads.....there is no third bottle in these pics what you may be seeing is a spool insulator? made of ceramic

Thanks for looking Golden....I love to share bottles, its too bad this forum is really slow...I like it as much as metal detecting forums...
Have a good one
