Hey jabbo I made one of the Ring Pullers yesterday

I put more hooks in it. I went out today and you are sure right it makes some short work of pulling pull tabs tinfoil and all kinds of alum stuff along with anything else you can think of. It paid for its self though. Got 1 5 gram Mans Ruby initial ring with a real fancy W in the middle. It took a little getting the Technique down but once you got it it went real fast. Thanks for a real time saver. If you guys have not made one yet it really works great. I am going to add a bike grip with a hand guard so my hand won't slip down on the blade. Man I love that thing. Great Idea. :D: :D:  .Later Jerry Aka Tinfoil

Jabbo sent me the photo a month ago, and asked for help posting it. It is his creation, but I have had a few people thinking that it was mine, since I posted the photo for him. I cant take credit for such a mean piece of hardware....it was Jabbo's effort. Anywho's, heres the link to the photo Jabbo's amazing pulltab ginzu!!!!

Hey Tinfoil, glad you made this great tool for yourself. Yea, it needs a lot of hooks, about like shown in the photo. Hope others make one too, could save millions of holes being dug in parks, just for a piece of foil or a pulltab. Also, it's amazing what it can pull out of the ground.I had a chance to use it only twice before the ground froze. Thanks for the reply, I knew I wasn't crazy. Jabbo

Anyway you ain't . I got a real nice 14kt mans ruby initial ring with a W in the middle with my new 6000XLPRO the first day out with the puller. The 6000 XLPRO it is one of my favorite machines to work the trash with. I did make the hooks slimmer so it would hook better Anyway thanks for a great little gadget it works great. I think I will make a few for my buddies. It should work even better at the beach. I got to put a bike handle on it with a flange so when you hand gets sweaty or wet it won't slip down on the knife. I might even make a handle for it. You can go to Goodwill or the salvation army to find a cheap knife if you want. I used the bread knife at Bed and bath. Anyway you did good . You might try those few little mods for yourself.. Later bud and thanks :clapping: :D: :D: Jerry aka Tinfoil.

Glad to hear it. Sounds like a beauty. Keep us posted on any more goodies pulled out, might inspire others to make this tool. I'll be out there as soon as the ground thaws here in Jersey. Many, many days last summer I didn't go out detecting because I didn't feel like digging plugs for two or three hours. I am going try using it where I know there is a lot of pulltabs, like in the picnic table areas in parks, could be virgin territory. Good luck, Jabbo (also known as TYKIT on Treasurenet forum).

I am a iron and trash jewlery hunter and I love this thing. I hate snow that is why I live way down here is SW Louisiana. Year round hunting. Thin out your hooks, make them come back more and round off all your edges and make them smooth and smaller point. You will be able to hook better and not damage the rings. That should do it. Now I got to make a couple more for my buddies. :clapping: :D: :D: Later Jerry aka
Tinfoil
