I saw in Max's post that you wear those shoes with the holes in them down in the sand. How are they working out for you? Do you ever get them wet and full of sand? If so do they give you blisters? Reason is I was thinking of buying a pair and wonder if they work in the surf sand and water. I forgot what they are called. I know they start with the letter "C"

Infact my podiatrist recommended them when I was having a plantar fascitis problem (painful arch) to wear any time. Especially on sand. She said never to go bare footed on the sand.

The sand and water run through them and I don't have any problems with rubbing, etc. I like them especially in the river where you don't know what's on the bottom.

Good luck.

I used them last week. I did get small gravel in them often.

Since I didn't have a tan when I went down there, the holes in them gave me Leopard looking feet.

They are comfortable and work well on the beach and wet sand.
