Hey hey...Not silver but still a big ol' coin!

Went to a park and 10 seconds in and five steps from my parking spot on the first good signal of the day it was solid, loud and high...so I dug it.
A 1995 Kennedy half, man I love digging big coins of any kind!

Right there it made my hunt, no matter what I found after this I already had a great day.
Also we finally got rain after a two month drought so digging anything was fun again...even trash.

Love those big coins. Even clad. I have found two half dollars in over 4 years of dirt fishing. One walking liberty and one clad kennedy. I have found far more clad dollar coins.

Congratulations. Yes we got rain and lots of it. Ground was too hard to plow let alone dig a coin.

Fun stuff! Glad you got the much needed rain. I got 10" of snow and -9 for a high tomorrow, Now that really makes good soil bad.

congratz on the half. I'm just sitting out the winter now, waiting for spring. :sadwalk:

Nice score on the big ol' clad half dollar! I would love to find a virgin school yard or park filled with them. :twodetecting:
