well I haven't got to go detecting at all this summer just right out plain buisy with the family and gold panning and really not much of that bought a vaquero in late may I think and used around the house once and put it away bought a 07 Kawasaki brute force 650 for my expeditions that and a passing of my grandmother was hard to take for a while and to add it all off had back problems from work a while and gone through some physical therapy and feel great and anctious to do some detecting so cleaned up the vaquero got new batteries and made sure everything is going to work good so hope there's some more goody's in one particular area I've hunted for the past 4 years and have had a good soaking rain today so hopefully it enhance some signals

It's good to have you back. I can't wait to see the pictures of your finds.

I been dragging butt lately and haven't been doing much detecting myself. I'm about to get fired up again.:detecting:

HAY,,, welcome back. We missed you. I also been a littie slow lately. Now we have to take care of our mother. She is 91 years old and is ready to go. We have to spend all our time helping her. I know it will all be over soon. Welcome back... KEN

i have not been out much lately either. doing extra work to pay the dreaded heating oil truck that will be coming once a month. the leaves are pouring off the trees and will soon need cleaning up. i will get out a few more times before the ground freezes though. then i will not be able to go for about 5 months. good luck to you.

Good luck and welcome back! Hope that Vaq hits a home run for you!

well went out sunday and didn't do very well but I had fun just the same the area I was in was very hard to ground balance and dug a lot of deep false signals and hot rocks which some of those rocks wouldn't ground bal out the only thing I found was a ox shoe some bent L shaped iron thingy and a deep remains of an old henry 40. cal brass shell I think I got to send the vaq for a tune up or something I've never had this prob before so does anyone know what Tesoro charges for a tune up now?

You might want to try a new location, I was hunting a spot today that was pure crap, not the detectors fault. Tesoro charges $50 unless you are the original owner.
