Mainly because it is slightly faster (.5 FPS) and has more memory for burst mode. Fours shots for sports just isn't enough. The 10D bumps me up to 9 shots per burst, not great but definately better. The other issue is noise, the 10D is significantly quieter when shooting. I plan to try some wildlife shots and noise is a big concern with 300D. Plus it has few extra bells and whistles that I could live with out but are nice none the less. I'd like a 1D Mark II but unless I hit the lottery sometime soon that ain't gonna happen. <img src="/metal/html/indifferent.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":|">

I can get it for $1,140 at Beach Camera. I haven't given much thought about a price for mine as I expected to just put it on eBay and let it fetch what it can. If you're interested in it send me an email.
