Guess I'll stop lurking...
I'm in the Fredericksburg area as well. So far since Saturday, I've pulled about 25-30 bullets, 5 Eagle Buttons, two New York sleeve buttons and one big New York Button and mounds melted lead! I've been working the yard and the neighbor's yard (I live near Ferry Farm), and some fields I've known about for a while. I guess I've put about 10 hours in since Saturday, so I'm doing pretty good considering the time! Shoot me an email if you're in the area, too! Love my XLT!

Went out again into the yard this evening for an hour... I pulled 2 more bullets that look like they were screwed in the top, sort of pulled out of the barrel of a rifle. I also found a whole and completely intact New York sleeve button, and a part of a knapsack button. I'll post pics when I get a chance... I'm on a roll - a little roll, but still a roll!

NY buttons and screwed bullets.....hmmm...sounds close to the camp I live on. Sounds like a productive spot....Nice finds ...keep it up.
