[attachment 261001 SAM_3610.JPG] everyone was catching fish stocked lake trout.

[attachment 261002 SAM_3613.JPG] All i found today was pennies better that garbage .Tuning up for my Easter hunt.

I just picked up an E series for $400 in like new condition. How do you like that machine? I graduated from an Eagle Spectrum.

I hunt with my brother in law and he uses that as his main machine. You an make adjustments to hunt almost any where, you just need to learn what adjustments to make .i have all the coils made for it .i like the precision scan 800 and the 5.3 coil,s actually i don't have the real small coil the shooter coil.It is a nice machine faster swing gives a little more depth but you can cruise with it all day, battery gives a lot of hours use.suppose to hunt on Easter with my brother in law going to be 50,s out yahoo.hope you get to go out and try the XLT out i be waiting to see what you think .Upgrading a little i think you will really like the XLT seems it would be a little liter than the spectrum. What coils do you use?Spectrum XLT has 4 custom program slots....Whites Eagle Spectrum

has 2 program slots.

Display on XLT is larger..... and nicer looking.

XLT has Rachet PinPointing that automatically de-tunes for center location.

XLT has Transmit Boost which selects the intensity of the signal transmitted from loop.

Battery system is different. 4 C cells in Eagle Spectrum. XLT uses 8 AA's. You might have to adjust AC sensitivity, VDI sensitivity, and PreAmp gain lower or higher according to conditions to keep it stable. Some times in areas you need to turn off Transmit Boost .Waiting to see what you find .have a great weekend.
