Hey folks, help me understand something......

........ I have found J-hooks, D-rings, Triangle "rings", etc...... off the knapsack.... but, I don't have a clue as to how they were actually arranged and used on the knapsack. Can someone 'splain how they were used, or better yet, does anyone have a picture showing how they were used?
