Hey Fisher customer service...how about........

This message is to Fisher customer service.

The F70 is a great machine that could be greater with the F-75's DD coil. Everyone I talk to that has the F-70 with the DD coil is saying so.

Why not make the F-70 the very best it can be by making the DD coil the standard coil for the F-70, instead of having to go out and buy the DD coil, which by the way is on back order and no one has available right now.

I would rather buy a machine that is the best it can possibly be when I buy it instead of having to buy another coil to get deeper results. I don't see many F-75 owners going out and buying the F-70's standard concentric coil, but I do hear of F-70 owners having to go out and buy F-75 DD coils for better performance.

I don't mean to sound like I am complaining, but I guess that there are probably others that also feel the same as I from some of the postings I have been reading.

I would also recommend putting out a DVD on how to use and adjust the F-70 and all the other machines you have available. It seems that there is not a whole lot of information around about the newer machines. White's does a pretty good job of offering information on how to use their equipment and those DVDs are a goldmine for White detector owners. I hear a lot of complaints about the lack of info from F-75 and F-70 owners.

And please....I would be embarrassed to be giving away those pitiful pin pointers you guys give with the machines. How about not giving a pin pointer, and offering instead a discount for a better one with proof of purchase. Or even better yet, offer the F-75's DD coil instead of the original coil and the crummy pin pointer.

These are marketing ideas. Not something customer service has control over. I do apologize, but you'll need to speak with someone else about this. As for the DVDs, it's all in the works. Some of the units do not have DVDs simply because it has been decided that the manuals are in depth enough. Doesn't sound reasonable to a lot of folks, 'cause I know it is easier for some to see it being used rather than read it. These are all only ideas I can make a mention of to our marketing team and our CEO. Otherwise, there's not much else I can offer you on these topics.

you are correct bobbie!..it DOESN'T sound right!..a d.v.d contains visual information, and is easier to comprehend, and properly connect with the detector for most folks!

regards!

Thanks for your reply. First I must say the the F-70 is one fantastic machine.

Seeing how you have an in with Fisher Labs, I would just ask to see if these thoughts could be passed along.

I am not the only one who is talking about the F75 DD coil. Many others have posted about that. Although I was out today for about 6 hours and found the standard coil quite good, but as I have been hearing, not quite as good as the DD F-75 coil.

Very good on the DVDs. Sounds like Fisher is really on the ball.

But we all appreciate Fisher's presence here on this forum and for that we all I am sure THANK YOU!!!!!!!!
